Rasheeda Henry is an esteemed Qualifying Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She has years of experience helping people like you have healthy relationships with themselves and others. She believes in building an emotional connection to drive the change you desire.Rasheeda has implemented treatment plans which addressed diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, borderline personality disorder, post-partum support, and counselling support for couples in distress. In her practice, Rasheeda utilizes the following modalities: trauma-focused, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Gottman Method.

 

She has witnessed profound transformations and gained invaluable insight by interacting with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Her experience has enabled her to develop an empathic approach when dealing with clients’ challenges, thus, allowing her to be creative in facilitating effective treatment outcomes. She strives to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where clients feel valued and heard. Truly seeing people for who they are and supporting them to blossom is something she loves about the profession.

 

Education: Rasheeda has a masters in counselling psychology from Yorkville University and a bachelor’s degree in family and community social services from Guelph-Humber University
