We require at least 48 hours advance notice of any changes to your appointment or cancellations. Any changes between 48-24 hours will result in a 50% fee of the cost of your session. Cancellations or changes within 24 hours, or if you do not attend your appointment resulting in a no-show, will result in a fee of the full cost of the session. - Psychotherapists and Social Workers offer talk therapy. Their education and experience are comparable, and they are often covered under the same line item in insurance policies.
- Psychologists often have a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology and are able to perform assessments and give medical diagnoses. They also offer talk therapy.
- Psychiatrists are medical doctors who specialize in the prescription of medications for mental health concerns.

Our psychiatrists only offer OHIP covered care at this time. This means that you must have a valid OHIP card and requires a referral be completed by your family doctor or GP. This includes patients who are enrolled or interested in enrolling in our structured Programs.
Psychiatry appointments are covered by OHIP, meaning your family doctor must send us a referral before we can book you. Kindly keep in mind that across the province there are wait times for psychiatry of up to six months. We do our best to have approved patients seen as promptly as possible.
