Constance’s approach to therapy is centered on the understanding that sometimes people need someone to help them navigate life challenges. As a result, she strives to understand individuals from where they are, and how to collaboratively develop strategies to overcome their challenges. Her experience includes providing services in different settings like private practice and Community Health agencies.

Areas of interest: In her work with individuals, she primarily focuses on the treatment of PTSD and trauma-related disorders, as well as anxiety, depression, and stress. Constance is particularly experienced in the assessment and provision of services to First Responders, veterans, those injured in motor vehicle accidents, women struggling with sexual trauma and relationship issues; as well as individuals struggling with stress management after receiving an HIV/AIDS diagnosis.

Education: Constance is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She holds a PhD. in Clinical Psychology and a Diploma in Addictions and Community Services.

Types of Therapy Offered: She is knowledgeable and skilled at utilizing a variety of therapeutic treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Existential Therapy to assist with the understanding of the human condition and finding purpose and meaning in life again.

If you believe based on what you have read, that I might be able to assist you, you can book your first session here. After this session I will make a recommendation for treatments moving forward. Should a diagnosis/assessment/medication management be warranted, we will help facilitate that.
