We make starting care simple. From your first consultation to personalized therapy, every step is designed to support your healing.

Your journey begins with a no-cost consultation with our Care Team. This is your opportunity to:

  • Learn more about our program and what makes NourishED unique
  • Get matched with a clinician best suited to your needs
  • Understand your insurance coverage, billing options, and how the program works

Our goal at this stage is to answer your questions, reduce uncertainty, and help you feel confident about taking the next step

50-minute | $230 Covered under Psychotherapy or Social Work services.

Next, you’ll meet with our Eating Disorder Program Manager for a comprehensive intake session. This is an in-depth review where we:

  • Explore your medical history and current symptoms
  • Assess your relationship with food, body image, and overall mental health
  • Identify any comorbid conditions or risk factors
  • Collaboratively create a treatment roadmap tailored to your needs

By the end of intake, you’ll have a clear plan for your care and a better understanding of how treatment will unfold.

50-minute | $230/per session Covered under Psychotherapy or Social Work services

The core of the NourishED program is individualized therapy, tailored to your individual needs. Together with your clinician, you will:

  • Explore the function of disordered eating and its emotional roots
  • Reduce problematic eating behaviors such as restriction, bingeing, or purging
  • Build healthier coping strategies for stress, emotions, and daily life challenges
  • Address body image concerns and work toward greater self-acceptance
  • Integrate treatment for trauma, anxiety, depression, or other co-occurring conditions as needed

Sessions are confidential, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based approaches like CBT and DBT. The focus is always on helping you move from struggle toward healing in a way that feels sustainable and empowering.

In-House Psychiatric Care

Medication Management and Therapy working together for your well-being.

psychotherapy

For some, medication can be an important part of the healing process. If at any point during your treatment medication may be helpful, we can connect you with our in-house psychiatric team for a consultation.

They can provide prescriptions and tailored support for managing conditions that often occur alongside eating disorders, such as anxiety, depression, or obsessive thoughts. This ensures you have access to the right tools at the right time, integrated seamlessly into your overall care.

Our Therapeutic Approach

At NourishED, we combine Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to provide a comprehensive and effective treatment plan for eating disorders. These two evidence-based modalities work together to address both the behaviors and the underlying emotions connected to disordered eating.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Helps clients identify and reframe unhelpful thoughts and beliefs about food, body image, and self-worth. By challenging these patterns, clients develop healthier behaviors and greater confidence in daily life.

Hamilton Clinic

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

Focuses on building practical skills in emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. These tools help clients manage intense emotions, reduce urges, and strengthen relationships.
