Haileigh has extensive experience and knowledge working with various practitioners, treatments, modalities, and care plans. She takes a holistic approach to wellness and believes in the importance of the mind-body connection. Her outside work as a Mental Performance Consultant makes her well trained in mental skills (goal setting, mindfulness, focus, confidence, stress-management, emotional regulation), counselling theories, and facilitating client development. She has many years of experience in the areas of rehabilitation and clinical psychology. She has obtained intense training in the field of rehabilitation psychology. She is affiliated with several rehabilitation clinics as a senior clinician, providing therapy and counselling to patients with chronic pain problems, and a variety of psychological impairments related to motor vehicle accidents, work injuries or long-term disabilities. She has been working with patients suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, somatic disorders, ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, and phobias. She builds a very strong therapeutic relationship with her patients. She has been using a variety of psychological tools, including cognitive- behavioural therapy, mindfulness techniques, acceptance and commitment strategies, positive psychology, and others. In addition to therapeutic services, Grace has been providing psychological assessments of people involved in motor vehicle accidents, work injuries, slip and fall accidents and other mental health problems associated with health issues.

Grace loves spending time with her three grandchildren. She enjoys swimming, kayaking and outdoor activities. She has been a vivid reader.

Nichole has worked with children, youth, and their families over the last three years, using Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, CBT, Family-Based Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy approaches. She has a drive and passion to support those who are suffering from mental, emotional, and behavioural challenges by providing a safe space to talk and come up with ways to manage these challenges within their daily lives.

She currently works with children and youth who experience eating disorders alongside mental health challenges. Furthermore, Nichole’s main areas of focus include ADHD, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, family conflict, psychosis, substance abuse, behavioural challenges, and emotional regulation.

She has the capacity to manage challenging moments by using de-escalation and skill support (skills coaching/teaching). Her skillset allows for families and youth to feel more confident in communicating their emotions and helps to increase emotional regulation. She enjoys supporting youth and families by providing them with tangible and educational worksheets to help them manage within their homes.

Nichole’s educational background is Child and Youth Care Studies at Mohawk College and an Honour’s Bachelor of Social Work at Wilfrid Laurier University.

Daniella is a registered Social Worker whose main passion is to support individuals in their journey to overcome their challenges. She truly believes when individuals are provided with the proper resources and guidance from their community during times of uncertainty, they will have the proper tools to flourish and achieve their lifelong goals. Daniella has worked with many individuals from various walks of life and has experience supporting them with depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, isolation, loneliness, panic disorders, and family therapy.

Daniella currently works within the geriatric community, specifically those with Alzheimer’s and dementia by providing resources and short-term therapy to them and their loved ones. She also has experience working with individuals who were unfortunately involved in a motor vehicle accident.

Daniella approaches therapy as a healing process, providing an inclusive space to talk through concerns, validate emotions, and implement skills when needed. She primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) interventions, as well as Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness to help tackle unhelpful thoughts and provide skills to better assist with managing stressful situations. As someone who loves to add to her toolbox, she continues to seek ongoing updates to her skills and knowledge base.

Education: Daniella holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, with a minor in Psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson University). Our traumatic experiences have shaped the way we think, act, and interact with people close to us. However, with the right guidance and support, we can improve, heal, and learn to love life and cherish moments of happiness!

She has been providing both therapy and assessment in public sector and private practice for several years. Luminita also has extensive experience in psychological assessments used in legal contexts and has provided expert testimony in court proceedings.

She has worked in a variety of settings during her career and training, including hospitals, corrections, community agencies, schools, child and youth services, and private practice settings. Additionally, she has been engaged in supervision of graduate level students and has appeared as a guest presenter at conferences and as part of community education and outreach programs.

Luminita works with adults, adolescents, and children. Her main areas of focus and expertise include stress, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, relationships and parenting, domestic violence, sexual abuse, trauma, PTSD, occupational stress, sleep, chronic pain, OCD, phobias, and couples/marital counselling. Laura is our Marketing Manager for all the BeWell clinics. While being an advocate for wellness and mental health, Laura oversees all our communication channels, messaging, and service offerings to ensure positive experiences at every stage of the patients’ cycle.

With an extensive background in Marketing and communications, Laura ties in all the internal departments and processes to bring a unified approach to our practice: placing our patients’ wellbeing at the core of everything we do. Her aim is to support our patients throughout their mental wellness journey with different online tools and resources. Additionally, she closely works with our skilled practitioners to ensure that all our communication channels are up to date with the most current research and clinical information on mental health aid. Lastly, she holds a degree in Marketing and Supply Chain Operations Management and has volunteered on several community projects to improve the health of lower income neighbourhoods.

Sarah is our Clinic Administrator at BeWell Health Clinic. She is passionate about educating patients about the services we offer alongside providing top-teir customer service. If you emailed, called, or texted us, chances are you’ve spoken to them! In addition to our Therapist staff, also supports our Psychiatrist Dr Samir Gandhi and oversees the referral and patient management process. Sarah is a certified Thanadoula and is currently working on their Masters degree in Gender, Feminist, and Women’s Studies at York University. She looks forward to continuing to help you on your wellness journey.
