Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), EMDR Therapist

Sometimes seeking counselling can feel daunting, especially when you’ve reached your limit. Taking the first step is an act of strength, resilience, and self-love. With Mouna, you’ll find a safe, inclusive, and supportive space where your mental and emotional well-being can take center stage.

Mouna is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) who offers compassionate support to individuals, couples, and families navigating depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, stress, and the complexities of trauma. Whether these experiences stem from family dynamics, life transitions, or past wounds, she honors the courage it takes to reach out and recognizes that each person’s healing journey is deeply personal.

In your work together, Mouna integrates a trauma-informed, person-centered, and culturally responsive approach. Drawing on EMDR training, Gottman Level 1, and other evidence-based modalities, she tailors each session to meet you where you are. Her goal is to help you explore emotions safely, strengthen communication, reconnect with your inner self, and build the tools needed for meaningful, lasting change.

Mouna’s background spans schools, mental health and addictions services, and the domestic violence sector, where she has supported diverse populations of all ages. Her work is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and a deep respect for each person’s lived experience.

Together, you will collaborate to develop a personalized plan that supports healing, nurtures resilience, and empowers you to move toward a renewed sense of well-being and self-connection.

Mouna holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (MACP) from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Mount Royal University.
