As a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Sarina Gandhi aspires to address the root cause of her patient’s health concerns, rather than simply treat their symptoms. As a reflection of this, she develops sustainable and personalized treatment plans that cater to the needs of the individual which provide lasting relief. She believes that a holistic and fundamental understanding of your body is necessary to achieve any health goal. She routinely applies interventions that have been approved by reputable scientific research, and aims to empower her patients with a combination of confidence and expertise in her practice.
Dr. Gandhi’s passion for patient-oriented healthcare began while she was enrolled in the Nutrition and Nutraceutical Sciences program at the University of Guelph. It was during these transformative years that she developed her own philosophies for wellness – a reflection of the intensive training she received in the fields of metabolism, disease, genetics and nutrition.
Dr. Gandhi’s inspiration stems from the Japanese philosophy, “Shokuiku”, meaning “food education”, which emphasizes the importance of nutritional education throughout her practice. In Japan, school programs educate their children on the principles of healthy eating and nutrition, to instill healthy habits at a young age, and to reinforce a lifestyle meant to prevent disease. She welcomes all concerns of health, including hormonal imbalances, ADHD and mental health, burnout, prenatal, pregnancy, and post-natal support, digestive concerns, immune health, metabolic syndrome, pediatric concerns, and the list goes on!
Her favourite modalities include nutrition, diet and lifestyle, botanical medicine and nutraceuticals, and she even offers cupping and acupuncture. Dr. Gandhi also offers Vitamin B12 injections.
She is a member in good standing with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND).
