Aliana Razac

|
Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Aliana offers an attuned and compassionate presence, guiding clients to connect with their emotional experiences and uncover the wisdom already within them. She believes that healing begins with awareness and uses this as a pathway to help you arrive at challenging emotions with curiosity, in order to understand the needs that lie beneath them. In co-creating a therapeutic space tailored to your needs, Aliana helps to bring you toward greater self-insight, empowerment, and fulfillment.

She works with those navigating trauma, relationship challenges, self-worth, shame, and substance use. Drawing on an integrative approach, Aliana blends evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Processing Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Internal Family Systems alongside attachment-based and polyvagal lenses. Aliana works collaboratively with clients to ensure they understand the intention and focus of each therapeutic approach, helping them leave sessions confident in their ability to lead their own wellness journey. She brings a holistic perspective, integrating body, spirituality, and culture into her work to support clients in connecting with their whole selves and the world around them.

As an Indo-Caribbean clinician, Aliana values exploring cultural histories as a way to strengthen connection with the self and the context one is embedded in. Aliana encourages clients to draw on creative writings and media from outlets that resonate with them, integrating these insights with their evolving identity to support personal growth and self-understanding.

Education: Aliana is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds a Master of Education in Counselling Psychology from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education with a specialization in Addiction Studies. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Health & Disease from the University of Toronto.
