Candace is a compassionate and approachable Registered Psychotherapist dedicated to working with both youth and adults in a safe and supportive environment. Candace uses a client-centered approach to work collaboratively with her clients to develop individualized treatment plans for each client’s unique needs and goals. She understands that a genuine connection and a comfortable setting can support significant personal growth and healing.

Candace has assisted individuals navigate through varying concerns including anxiety, depression, anger, day-to-day struggles, life transitions, stress, early childhood trauma, PTSD, and grief. She values each opportunity to connect with her clients on a meaningful level, taking the time to understand their unique stories and experiences.

In her practice, Candace uses a diverse range of Pychotherapeutic modalities. Her approach integrates Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Interpersonal Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Sandplay Therapy. This eclectic methodology allows her to tailor strategies and techniques to the specific needs of each client, creating a supportive environment for growth and empowerment.

Candace holds a Master of Education degree in Counselling Psychology, Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto’s Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). She has a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Psychology from Guelph University and a General Arts and Science Diploma from Humber College. Candace is a member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), and a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).
