Psychological Associate (Supervised Practice)

Genevieve is a Psychological Associate (Supervised Practice) registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, working under the clinical supervision of Dr. Anusha Venugopal, C.Psych.

With lived experience shaped by a richly diverse background, Genevieve values and celebrates difference in all forms. She is committed to creating inclusive, affirming spaces for everyone she works with, particularly individuals from marginalized communities. She believes therapy should be a place where clients feel not only safe and seen, but genuinely supported to grow into who they are.

Genevieve has worked with individuals across the lifespan, from young children to older adults, in both community and clinical settings, providing individual, group, and family therapy.
She uses an integrative and compassionate approach to therapy, drawing from Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. Her work is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in emotional safety.

Genevieve supports clients with a wide range of concerns, including trauma, grief, anxiety, identity exploration, isolation, stress, and life transitions. She places strong emphasis on emotional regulation, self-esteem, and reconnecting with personal strengths.

Education: Genevieve holds a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology with a focus in Professional Counselling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and an Associate of Arts in Addictive Behaviours Counselling and Prevention.

All clinical services provided by Genevieve are delivered under the supervision and license of Dr. Anusha Venugopal, C.Psych., in accordance with the standards and regulations of the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
