Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Katherine is a therapist with over 12 years of experience in the mental health and wellness field. As both a clinician and a parent, she brings professional expertise and lived understanding to her work with children, youth, young adults, parents, and families.

Her practice is client-led and holistic, blending a calm presence with warmth and gentle humour to create a safe space where clients feel heard and supported. Katherine has clinical experience in life transitions, perinatal mental health, parenting challenges, anxiety, stress, and chronic illness. She draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based, and strengths-focused approaches. Katherine draws from these modalities flexibly, tailoring her approach to each client’s unique needs, goals, and values.

Katherine’s education reflects her dedication to understanding human development and supporting families across the lifespan. She holds diplomas in Child and Youth Care and Social Service Work, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Family and Community Social Services, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. This foundation, combined with her extensive frontline and clinical experience, allows her to integrate both practical and therapeutic perspectives in her work.
