It can be difficult to work through mental health challenges on the daily, but it’s even more challenging going through them alone. Together we can create a plan that best supports you by working towards your goals and creating a brighter future for yourself! My services are offered to support those struggling with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, trauma and PTSD, life stressors, self-esteem and more.
My methods of practice are collaborative and client-centred as we work together to explore a multitude of modalities and resources that best fits your needs. As such, creating a compassionate and non-judgemental space is something I prioritize in the work that I do in order for you to feel heard and understood. The end-goal we create together in practice is for you to feel more confident and accepting of who you are as a unique individual.
I specialize in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), exposure therapy, elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
I received my Bachelors degree majoring in Psychology and minoring in Criminal Justice and Public Policy, as well as having received my Masters in Social Work (MSW) and am a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
I am ASIST trained in supporting those that struggle with suicidal ideation and have three years of experience providing phone counselling and supporting individuals through a distress line. In addition, I have received training and experience working in a trauma therapy clinic.
