Nikki Barot

Practicum Student

Nikki Barot is a practicum student at BeWell Health Clinics, completing her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Adler Graduate Professional School under the clinical supervision of Dr. Anusha Venugopal, C.Psych., a registered member of the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario. She also holds a Master of Science in Clinical Neuropsychology from Bangor University in Wales, UK, and an undergraduate degree in Mental Health from the University of Toronto. She has completed training in CBT- and DBT-informed approaches to therapy.

 

Nikki has gained experience in various mental health and healthcare settings—including hospitals and private clinics—supporting clients of diverse ages and backgrounds. She brings a warm, empathetic, and client-focused approach to her work, aiming to provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard and respected.

 

Outside of her practicum, Nikki enjoys dancing, playing board games, and spending time with loved ones. She also finds joy in walks by the water and hiking. Being fluent in Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati allows her to connect meaningfully with clients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.

 

All clinical services provided by Nikki are delivered under the supervision and license of Dr. Anusha Venugopal, C.Psych., in accordance with the standards and regulations of the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
