Sarah is a proud mom and wife to her very supportive husband. When she isn’t engaged with her clients you will find her at the baseball diamond or arena cheering her son on.

 

Sarah is a Registered Psychotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience supporting youth, adults, families, and parents. Sarah specializes in supporting presenting needs including trauma, self-esteem, ADHD, life issues, relationships, family conflict, school avoidance, body image, substance use, and complex mental health issues. Sarah is trained in CBT, DBT, Narrative, Brief-Solution Focused, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.

 

Sarah practices from a strength-based, holistic approach and offers her clients a safe space to unpack their concerns. She encompasses compassion and empathy in her client interactions and holds herself to a high standard of practice. Ongoing education and training are part of something that takes a priority in her work to provide the best practice approach to each person she works with.

 

Education: Sarah has been a registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario since 2017. In 1996, she completed the Child and Youth Worker program at Mohawk College. She also completed some courses in addictions at McMaster University in 2004, as well as a trauma certification program from the University of Waterloo.
