The Heart of Our Work

Every child’s smile, every parent’s relief, and every family’s breakthrough reminds us why we do this work. These are real stories from families who trusted us during difficult times and discovered hope and healing along the way.

“Our daughter used to feel overwhelmed every day, and we didn’t know how to help. The sessions gave her tools to cope, and now we see her confidence growing week by week.”

— Sarah M.

“The therapists were kind, patient, and truly listened to our family’s needs. We felt supported every step of the way and watched our son finally open up in ways we never imagined.”

— Daniel R.

“Parent check-ins made such a difference. We finally had clear guidance on how to support our child at home. Therapy became a team effort, and we feel hopeful again.”

— Melissa K.

“From the very first consultation, we felt understood. Our teen now has strategies to manage stress and anxiety, and as parents, we feel more confident navigating the tough moments together.”

— Jason L.

FAQ

That’s completely okay. We use a gentle, no-pressure approach to help your child feel safe and gradually build trust.

Younger children often cannot fully explain their history or emotions, so parents provide vital context. This allows the therapist to focus the first child session on comfort and connection, not paperwork or catching up.

Never. Therapy is a judgment-free space. We know parents are doing their best, and we’re here to partner with you, not criticize.

We understand the importance of a strong connection. If it’s not the right match, we’ll work with you to adjust the approach or connect you with another clinician.

Yes, updates are provided while respecting your child’s confidentiality. This is discussed during the Parent Intake and agreed upon with you, your child (if old enough), and the therapist.

Every five sessions, parents are offered a free 30-minute check-in. This time is used to review progress, ask questions, and receive tools to support your child at home.

Most extended health benefit plans cover sessions with Registered Psychotherapists or Social Workers. Our Care Team can help you navigate your coverage.

We recommend beginning with a minimum of 5 sessions. This allows time to build trust, assess needs, and start meaningful progress.

Yes. While in-person sessions are encouraged for younger children, virtual therapy is available and effective for many families.
