It’s frustrating to understand a pattern and still feel powerless to change it. You might keep having the same argument with your partner. Doubt might send you searching for reassurance, even though the relief never lasts. Or an experience you thought you’d moved past might still shape how safe you feel with other people. You don’t need to have it all figured out before coming to therapy.
Brianne works with adult individuals and couples navigating relationship difficulties, anxiety, OCD, trauma, life transitions, and questions about who they are and what they want. She is especially drawn to the questions that can feel hard to say out loud: Why do I pull away when I want to be close? How do we rebuild trust after what happened? What if I can’t stop doubting my relationship? Why does my life look okay on paper when something still feels missing?
In sessions with Brianne, you can expect a real conversation. She’ll listen closely, ask questions that help you see things from a new angle, and work with you to notice what happens when a familiar pattern takes over. She brings warmth and curiosity to the work, along with a willingness to sit with the messy parts instead of rushing you toward an answer.
For neurodivergent clients, that includes space to explore their experiences without pressure to fit someone else’s idea of how they should think, feel, or connect. There’s room to laugh, to be unsure, and to say what you haven’t felt comfortable saying elsewhere.
Brianne draws from a range of approaches to fit the work you’re doing together. These might include EMDR to help process painful experiences that still feel present, EFT to understand and shift relationship patterns, and ERP to help clients respond differently to OCD and intrusive thoughts. She also uses ACT and CBT to help clients build practical skills and make choices that reflect what matters to them. She tailors therapy to each person, including the ways they think, process, and connect with others.
You don’t have to arrive with the right words or a clear plan. Together, you can make sense of what’s keeping you stuck and begin to build something different.
Education: Brianne has a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and is a licensed Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
