Julia is a mental health professional offering client-centred, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care to individuals and families. She has been working with adolescents and families for over 10 years, offering early intervention support to clients struggling with concurrent disorders and family conflict.
Trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Julia offers integrative counselling to individuals and families seeking change and development in their lives. She works empathetically with clients, while also challenging them through their journey towards positive change.
Education: Julia has completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology through the University of Toronto, and is currently completing her Masters in Counselling Psychology through Yorkville University. Julia holds a membership with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP), and the Ontario Association for Family Mediation (OAFM).
