Tanvi is a registered Social Worker with 10 years of experience in human services supporting the community with her empathic nature and understanding of diverse social dynamics. She has a passion for supporting clients with finance, housing, abuse, concerns with mental health, caregiver stress, advocacy/system navigation, bereavement, end-of-life planning, family/relationship conflict, coping/adjustment, crisis intervention and referring to community resources.
As a couple’s and family therapist her objective is to practice and utilize emotionally focused couple’s therapy providing a safe environment for the parties involved to strengthen positive emotions, establish trust and communication, and improve their relationship. Her professional expertise in de-escalating, re-establishing communication and interaction, and consolidation will support clients to take a positive step in their relationship. With a commitment to fostering self-discovery and personal growth, she harnesses the principles of Motivational Interviewing, CBT, and DBT with mindfulness approaches.
Education: Tanvi graduated with her Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Regina. She is in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
