See What Others Had to Say

These anonymous responses were submitted directly through our post-assessment survey and are shared exactly as written.

I was able to submit it through insurance.

Being asked direct questions that made me analyze aspects of my life and experiences that I hadn't or hadn't in a particular way before

Ability to have virtual appointments

Clear schedule & billing cycle, psychologist led sessions (not having to think about what to say, just answering prompts), recommendations to make ADHD more manageable

I appreciated the follow-up appointment after receiving the assessment to discuss potential next steps and opportunities.

It was over multiple weeks, less overwhelming. The ability to do it in person and virtually was very helpful. The meeting with a psychologist after to go over the report and have questions was also very helpful.

The detailed report and results were accurate and provided insights about myself I wasn't aware of. The psychologist Dr Pershad was excellent and communicated the results of the assessment very well. She is highly recommended.

The thorough and comprehensive assessment of cognitive function and personal history made my assessment feel validated by multiple factors. The assessment did not just rely on what i said, but also provided analytic test results, confirming my lived experience.

The talks with my psychologist were really eye opening and affirming. She was so lovely and really gave me confidence to get through the assessment and helping with next steps.

I feel like the level of care, and the level of assessment was very clear and concise.

I felt safe and appreciated throughout the assessment. It was a very challenging time for me and they always saw me and heard me without judgement and with great understanding.

What's the RIAS-2 testing?

The RIAS-2 is a Comprehensive Assessment tool designed to measure intellectual functioning, including learning, reasoning, problem-solving, and more through four core indices of Cognitive Functioning.

It is a widely used intelligence test, with norms based on a diverse population, making it appropriate for individuals from all walks of life.

What's the benefits of RIAS-2?

At BeWell, we believe that understanding your Intellectual Abilities can be incredibly valuable, whether you are seeking academic or career guidance or simply want to gain a better understanding of yourself.

The RIAS-2 is a versatile tool that can help us achieve this goal, providing you with a Comprehensive Assessment of your Intellectual Abilities. The inclusion of a Cognitive Assessment can help identify specific areas of Executive Functioning strengths and weaknesses that may be contributing to ADHD symptoms.

BeWell is the only clinic in the GTA offering an ADHD Assessment that includes insights to your Cognitive Profile, at no additional fee!

How can I determine if ADHD testing is the next step for me?

If any of the following resonate, an ADHD assessment may provide clarity. We also evaluate for other conditions that can mimic ADHD, such as Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, and more:

  • Frequently drifting off-task and struggling to focus
  • Constantly misplacing things or forgetting what you were doing
  • Feeling totally scattered, overwhelmed, or disorganized
  • Difficulty starting or completing tasks
  • Easily bored and craving constant stimulation
  • Consistently underestimating or overestimating how long tasks take

Our program provides an in-depth understanding of your challenges and offers a unique, integrative approach to support your mental health and wellbeing.

At the conclusion of your assessment, ADHD may be diagnosed. A diagnosis is not guaranteed by solely completing an assessment. What is certain is that you will receive:

  • A comprehensive, personalized report tailored to your symptoms and concerns
  • A feedback session with your assessing Psychologist to discuss results and next steps
  • The option to consult with a psychiatrist or nurse practitioner for guidance, support, or medication management
I have already been diagnosed with ADHD, can I still get support?

Whether you are looking for a Re-Assessment, ADHD Coaching or Short-Term Psychiatric Care, our team is here to help.

Is the program covered by OHIP or Private Insurance?

This program is covered by most Private Insurance plans. Please speak to your Insurance Provider to determine:

  • Total Psychology coverage for the year
  • Cap on each Psychology session
  • Coverage for Psychological Assessments

The Assessment Program has full Psychologist coverage, so it can be covered under Psychology Sessions or Psychology Assessments.

This link provides you with information you can discuss with your Insurance Provider to understand the type of coverage you may have.

Why consider an ADHD psychological assessment?

If you are experiencing ongoing challenges with focus, organization, or emotional regulation, you may be wondering why. ADHD can present in many ways and is often overlooked. A comprehensive assessment helps bring clarity and guide the next steps if you are experiencing:

  • Learning or academic challenges
  • Workplace performance issues or burnout
  • Difficulty managing emotions or feeling overwhelmed
