BeWell Health Clinics are the leading destination for comprehensive, integrative, and compassionate mental health care. Founded in 2018, we offer a variety of health services both virtually and at our beautiful, state of the art facilities in South Mississauga and Hamilton. Our dedicated team of Psychotherapists, Social Workers, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and Naturopathic Doctors work together to support our communities and patients through assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. We believe in using all tools available to help support overall health and wellness, offering cutting edge and evidence-based programs that combine traditional and alternative medicine.

 Part-time (20-25 hours a week). Open to remote/hybrid candidates with the potential for growth and learning within our clinics. Depending on the candidate’s qualifications, the role can be made full-time if there’s previous experience with social media content creation.

 

About the Role:

We are seeking a creative and motivated Graphic Designer to join our Team here at BeWell Health Centres. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or college students looking to gain practical experience in graphic design while making a meaningful impact in the mental health field. 

 

Compensation: $18/hr

Responsibilities: 

  1. **Design Marketing Materials:** Create visually appealing marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, and digital assets to promote our services. 

 

  1. **Brand Development:** Assist in developing and maintaining our clinic’s visual identity and brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all materials.

 

  1. **Social Media Graphics:** Create engaging graphics and visuals for our clinics’ social media platforms to increase online presence and engagement. Ability to edit short video format for social media platforms is a plus.

 

  1. **Website Support:** Collaborate with the team to update and enhance our clinics’ website, ensuring it reflects our services and mission effectively.

 

  1. **Client Resources:** Design informational materials and handouts for clients to facilitate their understanding of therapy processes and resources available.

 

  1. **Event Promotion:** Develop promotional materials for workshops, seminars, and events hosted by the clinics.

 

  1. **Collaboration:** Work closely with our team to understand the clinic’s goals and translate them into creative visual solutions.

 

Requirements: 

Portfolio is required. Please submit one PDF file with work samples and CV or add a link to CV to your online portfolio. Applications without a portfolio or previous samples will not be considered.

  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). 
  • Strong creative and artistic skills with an eye for detail. 
  • Video editing skills for short video format (Instagram reels), preferred
  • Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • UI/UX experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and receptiveness to feedback. 
  • A portfolio of previous design work or projects is preferred but not mandatory for recent graduates or students.
